An ultra-light, quiet, non-polluting low-cost helicopter

Greener

With its only emissions being water vapour the Dragonfly DF1 is the first  quiet, ultra-light,  non-polluting low-cost helicopter. With less flight controls and moving parts it is simpler and safer to fly than conventional helicopters

Improved Stability and Safety

Stability is vastly improved by propelling the rotors directly which results in less vibration and as there is no motor torque, the tail rotor is only required to rotate the helicopter thus removing the cause of 98% of all helicopter incidents.

Certified
The dragonfly is  a fully certified and sanctified machine which is approved by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)

Unique Propulsion System

The Tip Jet DRAGONFLY does not have a conventional turbine. It’s powered by a pair of  rocket motors manufactured by jetpack maker, Tecaeromex.

Water Vapour Emissions

The rocket like engines are fed with hydrogen peroxide (50% concentration) and additives. The output power can be compared to a 110kg heavy and 100hp strong conventional engine. Hydrogen peroxide is converted with oxygen into hot steam which transfers the forward thrust directly onto the rotor blades.
